JST.B is dedicated to pursuing creativity and curating a space for people to freely utilize their originality in purpose-driven ways. Young Asian American creatives have long been under represented in the creative world and we thought we would gather a group of exceptional talent in their respective crafts to collaborate with clients projects. Learn a little more about these highlighted few through their brief bios.
JiWon Baeq - Videographer
JiWon is a videographer and founder of G1 Studios LLC. He has experience in creating films for weddings, music videos, commercials/promos, and event coverage for independent artists and companies. While creating videos, JiWon is also pursuing a degree in Cinematic Arts and Philosophy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Judy Kim - Photographer
Judy is a self-taught photographer looking to expand and refine her craft by taking on new and challenging projects. Though she started out taking photos of her own life, travels, and experiences, she recently transformed her personal style into a public identity and has had the pleasure of photographing family portraits, birthday parties, proposals, casual engagement photos, and portraits. She found that what she enjoys most is seeing clients' reactions to the images they created together. In the next few years, she hopes to establish a working name and identity for her photography and create projects on a regular basis.
Isaac Jeong - Digital Marketer
Isaac is a digital marketer with a focus on providing marketing services for local businesses. When his family moved to America, his father started his own auto repair shop and watching his parents grow their business inspired Isaac to develop skills to provide effective marketing products for small businesses. Prior to starting his own agency, Isaac was admitted to University of Maryland School of Dentistry but decided to leave this course to scratch his itch of starting his own business.
Danny Lim - Coder
Danny started coding in middle school while making MySpace templates. At the University of Maryland, College Park, Danny was an Information Systems major. While backpacking, Danny met Digital Nomads who told him about their location-independent lifestyle because they were making websites. He decided to learn how to code and started with Codecademy courses at nights after work. In 2015, he worked as a Software Developer Intern at a2z. After working at that job for 9 months, he took a leap to go out to his favorite American city, San Francisco. There, he did a coding bootcamp for 2 month where he really honed his skills. Afterwards, he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, but left this past May, and has been working on his own mobile application idea.
Winston Zhou - Photographer
Winston is a Baltimore based photographer, videographer and designer who loves spicy food, esports and runny eggs. He has experience in taking photography for weddings, portraits, and events, while also working on various photography projects in the form of a series. Winston specifically loves taking candid photos as it captures a person or an event genuinely in the moment.
Christina Lim - Graphic Designer
Throughout Christina’s life, she has been practicing fine arts through various media (graphite, charcoal, pastels, acrylic, oil, watercolor, sculpture). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park. Since college, she has worked on several graphic design projects and has become proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Currently, she works full-time at a high-end residential architecture firm in Baltimore, Maryland, managing projects from early design to final construction.
